FAQ
Questions, answered.
For creators
Is ABCD free for creators?
Yes. Creators never pay to use ABCD.
Who can join as a creator, and how long does the review take?
Anyone 18 or older with at least one public social account. Our team reviews each profile, usually within two working days. You can keep editing your profile meanwhile.
Do I need a professional Instagram account?
No. You can add any account with your own statistics, clearly labelled as self-reported. Connecting a professional account will verify your statistics automatically when this becomes available.
My access pass does not scan at the door. What do I do?
Turn the screen brightness up and show the QR code from the app (it also works offline). If it still fails, the host can find your name and check you in by hand. If something goes wrong, open the experience in the app and choose “Get help”: we see which event it is right away.
What happens if I cannot attend?
Cancel from the app as early as you can: the consequences under the cancellation policy are shown before you confirm. Emergencies and safety reasons never count against you.
I was marked as a no-show but I was there.
Open the experience in the app and contest it within 14 days. Add what you can (a photo, the time you arrived). While we look at it, the no-show does not count in your reliability.
How do I send the content I owe?
After the experience, open it in the app and go to Content. Paste the link to your post, add screenshots if asked, and send. The business approves it or asks for a change; after 7 days without an answer, it is approved automatically.
For businesses
How are businesses verified?
Every business is reviewed by our team before it can publish experiences. We check the legal details and may ask for a document. It usually takes one or two working days.
How do I choose which creators come?
Creators apply to your experience; you see their profile, audience and track record, then select, keep on a waitlist or decline. You can also invite creators you like. Nobody is confirmed until they accept the terms.
How does check-in work at the door?
Your host opens Door in the app and scans each creator’s pass. If a phone is dead, they can find the name and check in by hand. After the event, creators who never arrived are marked as no-shows automatically.
What if a creator does not post the agreed content?
Content has a due date from the terms. We remind the creator before and after it. Late or missing content counts in their reliability, and you can open a dispute from the experience if needed.
For everyone
Does ABCD ask creators for Google or TripAdvisor reviews?
No. Paid or incentivized reviews break those platforms’ rules, so ABCD never includes them as content to deliver.
I feel unsafe at a venue. What should I do?
Leave and contact emergency services first: 19 (police) or 15 (ambulance) in Morocco. Then write to us with the topic “Safety”: these requests go to the top of our queue.
How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?
Both are in your account settings, in the app and on the website. Deletion has a short grace period in case you change your mind; your data export is ready to download within a few minutes.
Still need help?
Write to us: every request gets an answer, and safety issues go first.
